On June 18th I shipped out my 99 TJ soft top to Scott Fuerniss in Freemont, CA. I screwed up and the auction said the sale included door surrounds when it was supposed to say does not. No biggie I came up with a set of door surrounds here and sent them out to him. About 2 weeks after my door surrounds got there this dickhead decided he would charge the whole thing back to me through Paypal. Paypal has already said I will most likely win the case, but there is that chance I won't. Scott has had my top since June 25th and never once did he send me an email saying there was ANYTHING wrong with the top other than I had forgotten the door surrounds. It seems to me if someone waited two weeks after getting the top and then requested the door surrounds the top was fine.
Well, after doing some research on Scott I found his other website of www.tjlocker.com and low and behold there is a see my Ebay sales link there. Wow, a set of door surrounds for $175 pops right up. This asshole bought parts through one Ebay account and is selling them on another Ebay account it seems. He is a young kid I found out so that explains some. He must think he is above the law even though the Freemont police department said I most likely have a good case against him. I just have to wait for the outcome of the disputes.
I think it is a real shame that someone that calls himself a Jeeper or even an offroader would do this to another person. This punk kid has no integrity whatsoever. I wish I was closer to Freemont, I would drive over and kick the crap out of him like his parents should have. I know there are several people on this board that are listed in the same wheeling group he is in (Ftroop or something like that). All I really want is my money back (including the $150 in shipping) or my top and surrounds back, in the condition they left here in. The header was not broken, there were no tears and no rips anywhere in it bud. A few scratches on the windows were the only problem with the top and it had a little red dirt on it from the ONE time it ever went out to Gilmer. If you guys know this kid please knock him around a little to get some sense in him. I will go to every length there is to reclaim my property or my money. He thinks I am just a pissed off guy, but he has no clue. I am so tired of dealing with scammers and thieves like this. I will not stop until I get him arrested.
