Aggie 03-07-2002, 10:10 AM Very nice XJ. The largest tire you can fit is a Sawzall44". :rasta:
wsuxjer 03-07-2002, 10:21 AM :flipoff2: Are you sure they have rock crawling in ID? I think its chopped........ :D

Yeah dude, those vids are stored on my 4x4 club's server, not the quickest in the world but it works. There is NO way those vids would fit on my CableOne account.
That 40m vid was crazy, eh?! Did you see me bounce off that rock and catch air? LOL  :D
Great run, prolly the most hardcore $hit I have ever done.
hubeid 03-07-2002, 01:25 PM Where the hell did you guys go anyways? Is that out towards Murphy? I watched the vids last night, and was checking out some of the pics, but I couldn't figure out where you guys were wheelin'. It looks similar to the areas south of Boise (accross the Snake), but I'm not sure. I haven't seen anything on the clubs site either.

Dude, I love it when locals show up on the forums :D I don't know you do I? :) You wached my vids last night?
Yes, you are right, it was South of Boise across the snake. We took Reynolds Creek road past the feed lot on the right, past the Hemingway Butte parking lot, up the road about a mile or so and it's a trail on the right, you go through a cattle guard and turn left on the dirt road and head up the rocky valley parellel to the paved road, then it fades off right and continues up the valley.
Ken (the old ID 4x4 President) has not finished building the run page for that run, the only pics he got were the ones I took.
hubeid 03-07-2002, 04:41 PM I PM'd ya... Have you been up to Silver City? I hear there's some pretty good wheelin' over there too.. The last time I went wheelin' was in my Dodge up above Stanley. I'm still trying to get the 'pin-stripes' out of the paint so that I don't get ding'd when I turn it back in at the end of my lease:rolleyes: . It was pretty fun. I was suprised how well the truck did with everything still stock and open diffs:eek:
PhatXJ 03-07-2002, 05:02 PM Hey bro, I got your PM. I'm not much of a regular over on this forum so all that PM stuff is a little new to me :D
You can join the club whenever, you don't need a trail worthy rig to join. Probably good idea though, because whats the point if you can't go diggin'.
The new president is Tony Lancaster, he is an awsome dude. He posts on this forum sometimes, since I'm not a regular, I don't keep track.
Yes, I have wheeled in Silver City, I have hundreds of pics :D I just havn't put them up yet. Great area up there. The wheeling is mild compared to Carnage Canyon/Reynold's Creek but thats okay, the sceenery makes up for it.
You might want to ask one of the guys if you can tag along as a passenger on the next run, I believe it is the 24th. It is always a good time, even if your riddin' shotgun.
Thanks for the positive feedback about my rig.
I look forward to meeting you soon.
Oh, and by the way :flipoff2: :D
hubeid 03-07-2002, 05:15 PM Yeah Tony's pretty cool. I spent about an hour BS'n with him when the club was over at the Meridian park this last fall. I won't be able to make the 24th since I'll be down at Bruneau camping (roughing it in the motorhome:flipoff2: :flipoff2: ). I'll plan on making it to the next meeting. You going to the Monster truck show this weekend?
PhatXJ 03-07-2002, 07:11 PM If you are talking about the Show and Shine at the park this last summer, I was there :D
Hell yes I'm going to the monster trucks, who in their right mind would miss out on all the big tires, horsepower, rednecks and nausiating fumes! :D I will be there Sat night.
No prob about the 24th, I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it. That last run, the one of the pics and vids, was quite the excursion for me :D I think I'm gonna sit out a few, I want lockers before I go up there again :D :flipoff2:

:flipoff2: pics look fun, how long did it take to clean your shorts tho?
never have wheeled up there, for that matter I've only been to boise 1 time in my life, been to mexico more times ;) there is just to much stuff closer to wheel. next month were taking a trip to az to do florence jct area, then predator/terminator, then on to JV, and this will be the first time I've been outside ut, nv, and south ID wheeling.

Yeah, I agree the wheeling is better over there. I think I already told you that I am originally from Pocatello, I think the wheeling is Much better over there, plus UT is just a hop skip.....
Sounds like you have a pretty crazy month comming up. Hope you have a good time and tear it up in the prototype. Take lots of pics for the eye candy hungry jeepers on the net :D

Brent, where were you wheelin' in Southern Idaho? I grew up in Burley so I'm curious as to where you wheeled.
