I went to one of our local shops last night to talk to the owner about getting a web site (that what I do) while I was there I saw one of the most amazing trucks Ive ever seen... I dont have any pics but its a newer D**ge. Mark told me that the owner who lives in CA has put alot of money into it I wont say how much because he might hang out on this board. It sits on $15,000 worth of custom Dana 60's alone. Its got full front and rear hydrolic (sp?) steering. Custom coil sus. with 7ft of drop, he told me that they have ramped the truck 7ft up on one tire and all 3 others stay on the ground and that they can walk under it. Its got custom fabed bed and cab all tube. Its a multi purpose truck (rocks and race). It was just mind blowing. He told me they cant even wheel it untell next year because of all the photo shoots and mag articals there doing!!! Look for this truck I know that it will start showing up in all the mags.

Musta' been the Dodge that was hangin' at the Chile Chall. It just sat in the parking lot the whole event with the front and rear steer cranked. I thought it was a 100% purpose built/poseur rig, but with the photo shoot's to come, it makes more sense as to why it just sat there.

Booooring!

Big deal....custom tube chasis, dana axles, hydraulic steering, rear steel, coilovers.....like none of that has ever been done before:rolleyes:

Puhlease.....post me some pics and info on a full hydraulic drivetrain, or Independant wheeled arms driven by DC motors ....that would be something...but another high $$ tube rig with all the goodies.....Boooooring :flipoff2:

I know the guy that owns this truck, his name is Ryan Noble. He lives in Mead, CO. That truck was supposed to be done in August, but they ran into complications. I will have hiim email me some pics of it so I can post them...

Specifically it has:
TPI 383
700R4/ Atlas II
Dana 60 high pinion front and rear
4 sway away coil overs for normal running and a set of the same size sway away shocks to bolt on when he goes to race it in the baja races. He tels me that the body panels on the front and the bed are all bolted on by those screw things they use on drag cars. Anyway, Ill get the pics.

It's a Dakota body.

Yeah last time I went to marks shop I saw that thing, I was pretty impressed by it. I can tell you one thing, it gets used. There was trail rash all over the axles and suspension components

The front coil suspension idea looks like it was stolen from Scott @ ROCKSTOMPER, I say that because I saw the EXACT same front-end design over a year ago at Scotts place. I suppose it could be a coincidence, but I'm not sure

Anyway I thought it was cool since it was the first time I've seen all the cool shit (that I see everyday on this board) really up-close!:smokin:
