I have a 2002 Ford diesel 4x4 and wanna know what people recommend for an aggressive tire that does well in rain and snow that will get 40,000-50,000 miles???

If the only unusual conditions you see will be snow and slick roads, then get AT's.

If you will be mudding, the least you should get would be MT's. Anything less and youll get stuck a lot.

I was thinking of BFG all terrains, but heard they suck in rain, so.......

That's why I wanna know what specific tire people recommend.

In my experience, BFG A/T's do much better than the M/T's in the rain, unless you have to deal with a lot of standing water, and the the M/T's get the nod. My brother's Toyo M/T's seem to be a great weekend warrior tire for DD duty, and they're wearing great. He drives a Toyota, so I'm not sure what they would do under a truck as heavy as yours though.

You can always have M/T tires siped for better slick conditions traction, and depending upon your options, may be the best way to go. If you don't mind stepping down to the 30-40K mile range, you'll have a lot more options for "aggressive" tire choices including the TRXUS, SSR, etc.

Cooper STs are a good tire, and fit what you describe. Goodyear Workhorses are a great tire, if they have them in the right size.

Interco TRXUS tires are great for being MTs, ride quiet and wear very well.
