Who is your vote for?
I need 15x8" 8 on 6.5" with 2.75" BS. The US Wheels are dirt cheap, but are the Eatons worth the extra $$$? The Eatons have a 2200# weight rating, which would be nice for my overweight pig, but $30+ more a wheel is a little hard to swallow.
THANKS

Which wheel is truer? Put one of each in the size that you're contemplating on the old spin balancer (w/o tire) and spin it up. Watch the inside bead area of the wheel as it spins...look for axial and radial runout. I'll bet the Eaton's are truer. Just be careful not to get too close etc. when watching the wheel....duh.
Don't forget that poor wheel assemblly tolerances are magnified by taller and wider tires. I had some Uniques (I think that these are now same as US wheels) that sucked! I told the tire guy that I wanted American Racing, when I picked it up they didn't look quite right. He said that he saved me some money and that they were just as good...if I didn't like em, bring it back and he'd take care of it. Well, I brought em back after driving about a hundred yards and we put one on the balancer....it said it was balanced, but you could see the tire wobble and hop!!! He said probably the tire...I said don't think so...he took the tire off and spun the wheel only ont the balancer....yikes...the next day he put the American Racings on and no more shitty ride. BTW, the tires were BFG 33x12.50x15 AT's.
Lesson, never, ever by 'cheap' wheels for a rig that drives on the pavement. And yes, I gladly paid the couple extra bucks per wheeel! HTH.

I went with the eatons.
Can you even get USWheel's w/ 2.75" BS?
I think for Eatons their standard for 8 lug is now 3.75 BS (it was 3.5 when I bought mine) so you would have to pay the $15 extra per wheel to get 2.75
There is no comparison between the two, the Eatons are much better. I have U.S. Wheels now and some of the welds are not ground down all the way also they are made out of a thinner steel than the Eatons that I have on my other jeep.:D

Thanks... just what I want to hear. I'll call Nat'l Tire in the morning and make sure I can get them in 8-lug.
Triaged: AFAIK, 2.75" is custom no matter where you get them. The US Wheels are apparently available up to 2" BS, but I don't know what patterns are available.
