: Fuel Lines (Is Copper O.K.?)

Anyone have comments concerning the use of 5/16" copper lines for fuel lines in conjunction with a mechanical fuel pump?

I'm currently installing a Buick 231 into a Toy P.U. and I need to route about two 10' sections of fuel line from the passenger side tank to the front of the truck and then over to the driver's side of the engine. I've looked into using hydraulic line, but it's pretty stiff and I need to do lots of bends.

TIA,

Copper is for your water heater
get some hard brake lines

Copper would work, but hard to fix any thing inthe field. Steel brake lines are the norm.

Thanks guys for the comments - I'll go with steel.
