Well we finally got out of our old 'hole in the wall' and into a real shop space. Man, what a pain...BUT OH WAS IT WORTH IT!

The greatest thing is that there are seven rigs inside now with room for another 3. All with 3-4 feet around them.:D :D :D

I thought you just renovated the "new shop" less than a year ago and moved everything into the spiffy new place...

A year later and it's a hole in the wall?

Dang, remind me not to rent to you! Didya take the lightbulbs with you, too? :D :flipoff2:

In any case.. the only time you can have too much shop space is when you have to heat it. :D

No, it's a blank-spot in Netscape.. until I look at the source and notice that there's actually a picture supposed to be in there. :D

Newbies. :D

The old shop we were in there for a year. It was a year lease. We did one year lease for this express purpose. Yes, it was nice and large until we drove something into it. Then it got small REAL fast. 4 rigs tops....and don't try to move around either.

So we tried to start small like we were told to (people said to grow into it) then go big. We moved in and started tripping over ourselves inside of a few months. And yes, believe it or not, we did take the lights and put back the originals. We bought a crap load of high output flouresents and threw the old regulars in the box above the office. We put the regulars back in and kept our nice ones.:D :D :D :D

So it became a hole in the wall very fast. The new place is freakin huge.

What the hell is that Heep doing in there? I hope your raping the 300, a T18 and a 360 for a Scout, otherwise I'm reporting you.

Shop looks sweet, that's about the size I want with the next house.

!La migra! !La migra! (did I spell that right?):D :D :D

The Jeep is for my 57 year old mother. She bought it for $1500ish and we extended the wheel base to 97.25", Scout II axles, 3.73s, SOA w/ RS on 2" Softrides, 35s, flat butt conversion (inset lights and all). And yes, we gusseted the heck out of the tiny frame (man those things are lame). It has a healthy 258, T18, D300. She just wanted a "little Jeep" to follow us around in ~ well, she got a little jeep alright.

How could you let your mom buy a Jeep??

My mom rides a Harley and has her own Scout II. :flipoff2:

She's a hat-owning Asshole and a Wench. (You'd have to hang out in rec.motorcycles.harley to understand..)

on the SunRun (hmm.. that was when she still had mufflers.. pre-drag pipes..) -

I see you are making the most of your available parking. Did you use a lift to get that scout up there, or a come a long?

Scout axles, what else would I use if I were going to build a jeep, its already got the 258, T18 and D300!?!?!

Now if your T'd that I used some "rare" 3.73 axles, guess again, those were 3.07s ~ we through some old gears in them and replaced all the bearings and seals. But they did come out of an 1980 :p

For one, he means the rule that says "4.09 and lower only, please".. plus the blasphemy of voluntarily putting Scout running gear under a Jeep.

Couldn't you have used Waggy axles instead? Or lied to us? :flipoff2:

Na... I don't lie. But what do you need 4.09 (or lower) gears for when you have a 4:1 in the T-case? Remember, its my MOMs Jeep ~ it'll be used for highway cruisin' most of the time. I know it does 85mph really well.

Yep. It's been inside since the floor was poured. :D

Couldn't get it inside the old garage because *someone* had it full of Scout parts and tools.

The Harley spent most winters in the living room or back hall. :D

My Honda n' Harley "piglet" are both in my storage shed - haven't done much riding since I started racing.

Hey it's your business, but I wouldn't buy from an IH guy that also worked on Heeps, unless the price was right. ;) There's just something not right about letting your Mom ride a Heep. :shakehead:

But at any rate, nice looking shop, are you going to offer free use of the shop for PBB members?

She didn't want a Scout...said there was too many of them in the family. Besides, my brother-in-law always complains about his so she's worried that she'll get a clunker. Oh well.

As far as use for the PBB members. In a couple weeks our online store will be up and running. We're talking about everythign 4WheelParts sells, but at a discount. I'll be sure and slip a discount code here so you guys can get things cheaper.

Being honest with you, I was amazed on how you made the Porsche behing the Scout totally disappear. Yes, there was a Porsche there, look REAL hard in the original. You can see the white tail light area sticking out just a tad..it also blended with the 800's white top.

I know I know, you're thinking that Snoopy's gone all yuppy on ya, First Jeeps, now Porsche's...I'm sure you can't blame me, its a 1974 Porsche 914, the pallet racks on the right are holding a brand *ReNewed* 1967 European Spec high compression 911S 2 liter 6-cyl. for it. dual thriple-throat webers and all. Oh yeah baby...just out for a Sunday drive.

Hey man, gotta have a past time right? Working on Scouts all day long gets SOOO exhausting.:p
