Sorry you gota click guys.
Nice to meet people like Bud from budbuilt and Jim from inchworm on the trails. They are the nicest people I've talked to so far as far as vendors go :smokin: . Props to Jim for helping Marshall get his pile moving again :smokin:
Thanks to everyone that showed and helped put this together.

Yeah I was kinda disapointed you and Kajo wasn there. I knew he wasnt going awhile ago. Really wanted to see your rigs in acton.
erg801 08-04-2005, 08:58 AM Sweet pics, i almost came down there that weekend with my buddy for the hell of it, didnt even know the takeover was that weekend...what trails did you end up running?
94toytruck 08-04-2005, 12:04 PM Friday-Q-trail, rattlerstail, rattler, drumstick. We had alot of BS problems with rigs in the morning or we would have gotten much more done.
Sat. we ran Wompum,Pitfall, Sharks teeth and V-roc which are Red sections of undertaker. We did quite a bit of wheeling Sat. even though it really was only 3 trails.
Sunday I only wheeled till noon. My spotter ended up getting something embedded in his eye pretty good. we ran Pitfall with some other guys and fixed up a broken inner on Doc Sausages rig.
TURNSTYLE 08-04-2005, 01:35 PM Looks like fun dood! I'd say you gave your front turn signals hell!
yeah the 'ol front signals arent workin too well these days, the pass side works but has no cover, the driver side doesnt work but its cover made it through the weekend, i had a blast, friday our group was only 7 trucks and sat. it was 4 until lunch and then 3 trucks for the last 1/2 of the day. i was hoping some more of the built up rigs would've shown up, its always fun watchin kajo and shawn
Lowtorious 08-04-2005, 02:26 PM When the white Taco was built how come the owner didn't chop the roof and extra cab? It's got no windshield and is completely open so I guess he's not worried about the elements. Why not chop it, lose the weight of the sheet metal and extra tube? It looks like it could be re-worked to be lighter and give you more space for storage and passengers.
Other than that, it looks like you all had a SWEET time!
94toytruck 08-04-2005, 04:16 PM Pretty sure Johns taco got driven still when it was exoed. Later he decided to pop the windows out and such.
TURNSTYLE 08-04-2005, 09:13 PM yeah IIRC he had the exo done before he decided to ditch the glass and all the interior trim, then additions were done to the exo to mount teh seats and 5 pionts, plus a few other things to take the place of the tube doors and to go in front of the windshield
i really like how his truck turned out, the exo looks good (eventhough exo's arent really my style) its still got the OEM sheet metal so you know it was a taco, and TBH, there wasnt a single trail or obsticle that gave his truck any probs this weekend. i see what yer sayin about choppin the top and all that, but im not sure john is too concerned with the littel bit of extra weight he's got
