I've got a 75 f -150 d-44 with 79 Bronco knuckles and disk brakes. The knuckles are kinda flat top but not like chevys or king pin style, so steering arms wont clear my leaf springs. They would have to be way up in the air. Is there any home brew kits out there where you could mix chevy and ford to get up above the leafs. Then I would make or buy Avalanche high steer arms. Thanks for any info.
go to the ford section and look up the flat top knuckle thread, the search button will help yah out to:flipoff2:

Bill, just wanted to remind you that you're welcome to add the "rear tie-rod" version pics /info to your collection. You saw my posts on them and check out H8Monday's posts for the 8 lug info.

home brew would be to weld them on, i don't really like that way... but it can be done. but you trailer the darn thing anyways... so who cares :D
if you want to do it right, you'll have to locate the correct flat top chevy knuckles, drill and tap the one knuckle. Then you'll have to use the chevy spindles, rotors, brakes, stub shafts and hubs. IF you find the right deal it could be worth your while.

Are the knuckes and spindles 5 bolt? Why not use a set of 3/4 Ford 5 bolt flat top knuckles?
