I have to replace the front spring I am running as they are bent, again. They are samurai rear springs from an 87. I have removed my front fenders and would like to lower the front by an inch or two. What springs should I use? Are samurai front and rear springs the same length? It has been so long since I swaped the rears to the front I don't remember.
Thanks

I hate to put stock fronts back on. Alcan spring said for 350 they would build a custom set but I really hate to spend the money on this rig because I'm saving for another one. Don't certian year CJ's use a 2 inch wide flat spring that is a little longer than a stock sammy?
Something like 76 and up cj's fronts are 2 inch. I think the 75 and older are 1.75 inch. They are longer, about the same lenght as yj's. JC

If I remember correctly, these are the measurements.
Samurai front springs are 37 inches long, 2 inches wide
Samurai rear springs are 39 inches long, 2 inches wide
CJ front springs are something like 42 inches long, 2 inches wide
CJ rear springs are 2.5 inches wide
YJ front/rear springs are 46 inches long, 2.5 inches wide.
