I need to get a 4.10 r&p. I'd like to find a set off of ebay or find a used set on here. Gears from a 5 lug 12 bolt will work in a 6 lug 12 bolt, right??

Also, what's the deal with the special 4.10s with the built-in spacer for use with the 3.08 to 3.73 carrier. Anything wierd about them??

Don't go using used gears.I would buy a quality set.Like Precision Gear.You won't know if the gears were over heated or abused.If you are looking for a cheaper way, find another 12 bolt with 4:10s.These usually are cheap and easy to find.As for the spacer on the 4:10 gears for the 3:08 to 3:73 carriers.The 4:10 and up gears use a diferent carrier the and the 3:73 and lower.Has to do with the size of the gears.Blazin:rasta:
