I was given the part number FORD ESTZ-18183-A, but that ain't it...at least up here in Canada.
Does anyone know what the proper part # is or what kind of Ford truck these are intended for?

E5TZ-18183A - I just got a pair (about US$26). This particular part started life in model year 1985. U.S. and Canadian P/N's should be the same.
E = 1980's (F = 1990's, etc)
5 = 1985
TZ = Ford part group?
18183A = part number

It's a great swap. I wish I could post some pics, but I don't have a dig camera.

Is this mod for a CJ, I have heard about it before but cant remember when or about what rig. I assume it is only for the front shocks? What do you CJ guys do about the rear shock mounts?
thanks

Just got mine yesterday. Don't know the PN but I pulled them off an 80's F250 with the independant front. I saw both the kind with a stud recepticle (like a YJ) and the kind with A bolt for the top mount (YJ rear). I got 2 shock towers, spring plates w/ the lower shock mounts, and u-bolts at a local pick n' pull for $10.
