Hey guys..I'm actually asking this for a buddy so keep in mind I don't know a lot about Jeep.
Other then Wagoneer front 44's what are good Dana 44's to swap in? I know answer will probably be go bigger but thats what he wants so....just asking for him

Yea I figured there was :) Like I said this is for a friend plus I went into momentary brain lock on what to search on for this info.

Ummm, my f250 d44 takes 297's??? In fact, I think MOST D44 take those dont they :confused:

Eearly 44's had x260 joints in them. Ford and Chevy, not sure about Dodge, but Dodge is weird anyways.

every EB axle I've seen w/ stock shafts has 260s. Seems pretty easy to beat :flipoff2:

76-77 f 150 half ton r/c 44 just cut and grind the control arm mouting tabs off the axle, weld on perches and your ready to go
drives side drop in place already
while he's at it he could match the rear with the 9in for a half ton also.
