Is any one running a rear shackle flip for early broncos? I am thinking this would be a good way to get 2" of lift and better articulation.

Not sure of anyone running them on a early bronco, but it's a rather common conversion for Full Size Broncos.
Here's a write up of doing it on a full size.. don't think it would be that different for an EB? Maybe spring width is different.

Couldnt you just cut the old ones off and flip them over and to the opposite side ?. I have been thinking about doing that to mine.

You can use the stock brackets and flip them and move them to the other side but you will only gain about 5/8" lift. If you use the front rear spring hangers you will gain 4-5 inches of lift, depending on what you get the hangers off of
