well its that time again. time to start gathering folks that wanna see the action up close, and have fun doing it

W.E. Rock East round 4 is happening in Jellico, TN happening September 16-18.

they are looking for JUDGES to help on the event. its a great chance to see the event up close and personal.

they would prefer semi local's (within a few hours drive) but, PM me if you are interested and want to judge. a good part of your gas costs will be remibursed.

rooms will have been reserved already for the judges, and are paid for with the stipulation that you share a room with another judge. so, bring a buddy to judge another course and you got your own room of sorts

since I won't be making the trek back east, talk to Rokn, he's been to a handfull of these east coast things and will be the man you need to see there

what do I need to do?

basicly you judge a course. you'll have a score sheet that you mark up things like # of times backing up, and cones hit if any. and keep an eye on a stopwatch to see if they finish the course on time.

Is it the 16-18 or 17-18? If it is Saturday and Sunday I could probobly do it, but not if it is Friday-Sunday. Let me know and I will see if I can do it.

friday is just tech and check in for the competors. actual comp is saterday and sunday.

that's fine, although it doens't count towards the second person in the room though, so you won't get a room all to yourslves.

but for anyone, if your woman or G/F or some hawtie off the street is willing to come and help ya out. bring them. it's great for the second person to keep an eye on the stopwatch calling out times and maybe keeping an eye on the other side of the vehical that the judge might not be able to see.

when the room info comes available I'll put you two together.

if the assistant is going to work, then yes, they will get in the event for free. however, if they aren't gonna work, then they'll need to pay.

Actually what we will be doing is having a Judges Apperciation Box where competitors can donate Money, gift certificates or whatever to the judges during the event. Donations only and itis not mandatory.

KTown isn't that far - so I'll just be going home Saturday night, but coming back on Sunday am. I can swing by on Friday - but I've got to be back to knoxville by 8:30pm.

Ok, no worries then, you should be cool, just make sure to be there early saterday morning ala 7-7:30 am

What hotel are the judges rooms' booked at? If it's Days Inn, I'll pay for a room at Jellico Motel to help the cost for W.E.ROCK. My crew always stays at the Jellico Motel. Can't break tradition.

hey just checking on how things went for you guys.

Not a complaint either days. Only three of us had judged before. The crew did awesome. Very professional and got a lot of kudos.
