OK it seems that the guys at the local parts store(Advanced Auto) are total fawking retards. I am getting my gears installed next week and i want to replace the inner axle seals on my ...dare i say it again...Waggy D44. I have spent the last two days at advanced trying to get the right seals. they refuse to order them if they do not know for sure if they are the right ones. DOes anyone know this part #? I am not totally sure what year the axle is, i am assuming its a 80-82, cause the gears & casting are dated 79.Its a drivers drop, standard with 3" axle tubes. Any help, i did do a SEARCH but couldnt find a part number..

I HATE THE PRICKS AT ADVANCED!! THEY TREAT ME LIKE IM FIVE, I AM 24, I KNOW WHAT THE HELL I AM TALKING ABOUT, I EVEN TOOK AN OLD SEAL OVER THERE AND THEY STILL COULDNT FIND ONE!!!!!!:flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

If you took them the seal it should have had a number on it they should be able to cross it. Or you could click on the link in the upper left corner, or in my sig. and order it from me on Monday. I'm at home so no parts books. Sure the shipping will likely be almost as much as the part, and sure it's not a profitable transaction for me but, You could get the seal, next time you might buy more. That's kind of how it works. 800-504-jeep. By the way if you need a driveline the guy above might be a great choice.

OK here is an update, I went to the cool parts store yesterday and we spent an hour going through the book and all teh seals they had in stock. For an 80-83 waggy axle the seal is NOT #5131. We beleive it is the #2300, i ordered them and he is suppose to get them tuesday, damn things were $18 a piece. I hope its the correct ones. The bok he had actually gave the OD so thats what we went by. I will let you guys know tuesday if its the correct seals! Thanks again for the help.
