I am doing an 8 lug conversion on a D44 from an 84 waggie. I got hubs, bearings, caliper mounts, and rotors from a 3/4 ton Chevy. I know i use the waggy spindle but which set of bearings do i use? The chevy ones right? Just looking to confirm this. Search feature times out when every i try to search on the topic "8* lug conversion".

Thanks,

Jim

Oh and for a disc brake conversion on a 14 bolt FF. Are any of the ford 3/4 ton rotors thinner than the chevy ones? I am trying to use the smaller 79-86 eldorado calipers but there is no way they are going to go on the chevy rotor. I dont even think they will if i use the old pads i took off from the eldorado.

Still looking for brackets for the larger caddy calipers if anyone has a lead. TSM can't sell just the brackets for the ebrake.

If the axle is from a 84 waggy then you can use the bearings and spindles from either setup. They are the same.

a 84 waggy 44 has the same size wheelbearings as a 3/4 ton 44? those are big.
