Column shifting to floor with a AMC TH400?

I have a 1976 Heep CJ7. I want to put the shifter on the floor, but I am not sure how to do it. Would it be the same kit for a Chev TH400? Junk yard parts list to use would be cool.

The shift pattern is the same so yes but you may have to do some fabricating on the shifter mount. I may be a mushhead but I am not thinking of any applications with TH400 with floor shift. Maybe 60's Camaros, El Caminos, Chevelles with big blocks. It may be less painful to buy an aftermarket setup.

Buy an aftermarket shifter ie. Hurst,B&M etc and they have the parts and install instructions. Mount it up and go.
