22re For Sale

Hey everyone I have a 22RE motor out of a 85 straight axle truck that I'm trying to sell. This motor comes complete harness and all sensors. The motor was a running driving truck until about a month ago when it blew the headgasket and then I bought and parted out the truck. The truck was at a shop and I talked to the guys at the shop they said if you put a new headgasket on the motor it would run.

Do you have any of the exhaust left? I need the downpipe for an 85 22re. I am in fremont, ca, 94539 so it would have to be shipped.

I have the exuast but I have a guy that might buy the longblock so I don't know if he needs it I will find out. How is the 85 different from any other 22re exuast?

I have no idea if the 85 exhaust is different thany any of the other 22re exhausts. They are probably the same as others. But in 85 the truck is solid axle and in later years it is IFS, not sure if the exhaust changed too. But my truck is an 85 with 22re and so I figure another 85 with 22re would be the same.

Just let me know if the other guy wants the exhaust or not, and I only need the downpipe.
