This is the jig-style kit to secure the pesky dowel pin in a Dodge Cummins 12v.
$25 SHIPPED to Continental US.
Will take Cashier's check, MO, or even Paypal.
The kit includes a welded jig that bolts to the timing cover.
A USA HSS drill bit with a depth gauge installed.
A Hanson 3/8"-16 tap.
5 more allen retaining screws.
Extensive instructions w/pics.
A nice printed sticker that says the modification has been done for your timing cover.
The way this kit works, you bolt the jig to the timing cover, and use the depth-gauged drill to drill a hole through the cover. Then you tap it out with the Hanson tap, and install the allen screw. This screw retains the KDP in place so it doesn't back out and destroy the timing gears in your engine.
Just so you know, the jig can be found floating around various messge boards for free, if you're willing to wait. You also have to use your own tap and depth gauge on the drill. This one is just all together in one spot. There are also other methods to do this, but this one takes about 20 minutes.
I paid, $25 shipped for the kit. I did not use it since my dad sold his truck, so it is still good for 5 more mods (or infinite more, just buy more allen screws.)
So that's where the price comes from. Just getting out what I have in.
