700r4, its my dads truck and i dont know that much about chevys. He is wanting to switch to a th350 cause the 700r4 checked out on him and hes tired of dealing with the 700r4. I think it has a np241 in it but not sure but i was told that it was about the same as a 208. The vehicle is a 88 or 89 GMC Jimmy.

I'm interested in your adapter. I have a 4L60E that is 6-bolt and a 241 that is also 6-bolt (driver drop). If you still have this available, please let me know (also shipping to a business in 30064).

Also, please confirm that this adapter is for a 6-bolt trans & t-case, and that it was a driver drop. Thanks!

The 4l60e has a 4 bolt pattern .The 4l80e has a 6 bolt pattern . my adapter is for a 4 bolt trans and 6 bolt t case and can be used for a driver or pass side drop t case . -Andy

Thanks for the info. Seems I have more of an issue than I thought. Looked at the picture and kinda mentally misplaced the nose of my truck. Seems I have a drivers side drop in my S-10 and the 208 I just bought has a passenger side drop. I'm pretty sure but my wallet says I'm a dumbazz and I'm thinking of agreeing. Will keep it in mind tho if I have some miracle thats allows me to still use it. :confused: :(
