I'm putting RCI poly seats and 5 point harnesses in my truck. I know I want camlocks, but other than that I don't know which brand/model. Is there a big difference? Which ones should I go with? I know the Summit camlocks are about 130 a piece, i'll probably go with those if no one can tell me cheaper or better ones to get.

Thanks,
Steve

And like BAJG said, since they're dated... you can usually pick up a one season old set at a racer swap meet for dirt cheap

Used belts are the way to go to save $. Try to find 3" shoulder and lap belts, and a 2" anti-submarine belt. Your crotch will thank you:D . If you think you need 5 points I like the sternum strap too. For low speed stuff I like just a 3" lap belt but if you roll hard you'll do a far bit of flopping around, they let you move around a see the trail better though. My $.02

We always get them from the Drag racers, like mentioned before they are only good for two years. Then on the dune buggies we would mount the crotch strap in front of the seat in stead of thru it. Used it mainly to hold the belts down, and keep them from riding up when hiting the bumps. If you realy want you can run them thru the seat, but after a little they get annoying.

Try Corbeau racing seats and check out their gear.

Don't go to ebay looking for deals, they all seem to sell for the same as you can get new ones for from Summit or Jegs. And there almost all out of date used ones.

yeah there were no deals on ebay. I just ordered the ones from Summit, at least i know no one abused them.

yeah, I went ahead and orderd new ones from Simpson...there awsome...just need to damn seats to put em on:D

Luckly my FJ-40 can't get over 70, so hitting a wall at 200 is out of the question.....so the famouse Simpsons should hold up...if not cut..:D
