I've done a search here and on the web, and have a few questions. I can get a 1988 Cherokee Dana 44 (Rear) pretty cheap. It is my understanding the only thing needing changed is the spring/shock mount locations, is this correct? Is the pinion flange the same on a Dana 35 and a Dana 44, or will I have to change it? Is the pinion length the same also (for same driveshaft length), or will I have to alter my CV driveshaft? My YJ is a '94 on a RE 4.5" ED lift, SYE, RE CV driveshaft. Thanks.

Jim

yep, just move the spring perches and shock mounts, the pinion is about 1" longer than a D35 pinion.

Anything else different, how about the pinion flange, and the e brake cables?
