Is it as easy to replace a Trac Lock with a Power Trax in the rear of a 98 TJ, as putting a EZ in the front (dana 30)???
Thanks

Larry,
I would stay away from the No-Slip at any cost. I have broken the cross shaft on my No-Slip 2 times in 6 months with a brand new carrier, 3.55 gears and 33" tires.
Better to replace your Trackloc completely with a Detroit, OX Locker, or ARB.

I was thinking about this with my 8.8 since it's got the trash lock, if it's be harder to get all the spiders gears out and crap, never had a LS carrier apart, just taken em out and put a detroit in.

It depends on how you intend to use it. The No-Slip is a good medium duty locker. If your driving style is very aggressive or you run large tires, go with the full carrier replacement lockers like a Detroit, or Ox. I've been using a no-slip for over a year with no problems.
