i used it before.

i felt it was good stuff. but the shop that was supporting me quit stocking it. so i switched back to twin air filter oil.

edit:
i just remebered. once after oiling my filter with it i thought i'd clean my hands off with the cleaner, cause it sticks to your hands for ever. MAN DID IT BURN!!! i instantley rinsed it off and just lived with the sticky hands.

My problem with it, is if its not serviced frequently, is the oil settles out to the bottom of the filter. Its unfortunate but most people dont service thier vehicles often enough, otherwise its a great idea for people that clean and oil filters at home. I'll use twin air until its no longer available and even if that ever happens i'll stock up.

yea, dont hold on to the cleaner. we play around at work and see who can hold on to it the longest. i wouldnt recomend doing it though cause you can burn yourself.

i didnt know that the oil settles at the bottom, ive never used it cause it dont have a bike. i sold it before i worked there.

if anybody here rides snowmobiles alot, the oil works awesome on that because it dosnt freeze. we tested it out and it works good on my buddys 1600 race snowmobile.

I did the same thing, burned my hands with the cleaner. For the people that have not used it, the "cleaner" is a powder that is supposed to be desolved in water first. If used with water it does not burn your hands.

I only use no-toil. I like the cleanup aspect of the product. I always stick to uni filters, the no-toil filters just don't look like they would last as long.

we build all the filters by hand, and it goes through a quality control before we sell it. i think uni laser cuts all of thier filters out of one big chunk of foam.

I have been in the manufacturing business (electronics) for the past nine years. If this is true that you make filters by hand in mass production and uni uses a laser machine, I think I am making the right choice by going with Uni. Machines don't have many Fridays looking forward to going home and... I am not trying to put down your company, I just have my own preferences. Again, I only use your filter oil (good stuff). :smokin:

i race offroad up in new england in the NETRA series (hare scrambles to be exact). i race with about a thousand people each weekend, and i dont see no-toil often. most everyone uses twin air.. i have seen it tho. so if u wanna get out more.. do something becasue twin air is kicking your ass.. lol. and ppl, dont waste your money on cleaner!!!! use gas! :flipoff2: it works just as well. i have been using it for 7 years.. for a little while i used twin air cleaner, but then realized theres a major difference between it and gas.... foam filter cleaner will always be at least $15 more expensie than a gallon of gas! plus its convenient, becasue theres aways that one tank of gas you would have dumped out cuz it got left out in the rain. clean your filter with it.. and honestly.. just about anything esle.. gasoline is your best friend! **warning contense is extreamly flameabe**

you obviously have never tried no-toil. gas won't wash it off. i tried.

for other filter oils i prefer kerosene.

I would get a better mechanic. Any goo dmechanic knows how bad gas is for that air filter. It eats the glue that fuses the seams togehter. Any serious mechanic is not going to take the risk of that filter splitting when your out on that "winning" ride.

And what do you do with the gas afterwards, how convenient is it at that point?

Typically use UNI, maybe I will try the No Toil next time. I clean my filter and change my oil after nearly every significant ride so I've never experienced this problem of oil settling.

uni, twin-air & no-toil alll great filters, so far I like the no-toil oil spray on, easy water & there cleaner or oxy clean, quick easy cleanup :smokin:
