View Full Version : Anyone ride at PiPi ( elkins flat ) lalely ?

Does anyone know if Morman Imigrant Gap is closed ? I want to say it is, but do they have a gate or is it drive at you own risk ? I am trying to go riding at PiPi valley ( elkins flat ) Has anyone ridden there latley ? The elevation maps look like it ranges from 3000 K - 5000 K

It has been too long to know for sure if it is open or not. I did a Don Ivan ride out of there once and it seemed pretty low so I bet the snow isn't a problem.

We actually went up to Foresthill and there was about 3 inches of snow at the lowest staging area, So we ended up riding Colfax by the tracks and made some jumps and rode some trails. Pipi is a little bit higher so there would of probley of been 5 + inches of snow up there.

I was at clear creek this weekend so did we get some good rain/snow over this past week/weekend? It rained on us on Wed. and Thursady but that was about it.

Put it this way, Kirkwood got 4 feet of new snow from wed - Sat. How was clear creek did you go in the back way through ponoche rd ?

No I was camped at Oak Flat from Wed. night till Sunday night. It rained on us poor fools setting up the course on Thursday and then a vary small sprinckle on Sunday morning but thats it.
