um... Hell yes. because it looks cool and gives you more ground clearance. Unless you do a lot of side hillin' I would do it. And the chicks dig it :grinpimp:

i'de say do it slap dem 44's on there.

I've run either 42" TSL or 44" boggers for 23 years now. Its getting harder and harder to get by with 44's legally on the street and the highway ride isn't great. 42's track much better ( partly because you can run them on 9.75 rims instead of 12's.)

Off-road in mud & snow the 44's are much better than 42's.

For mud drags/bogs the 39.5's are the way to go - at least until they come out with a narrow bogger taller than 39.5.

I would predict that you will drive your rig half as often with 44's as you do now though it will be twice as fun when you do.

Actually, most of the guys running 38.5X11's at all four corners kick the crap out of the guys on 39.5's (deep or shallow), at least until you get in excess of 800HP & start to blow away the 38.5's on the line, and then they go to 39.5's on the rear only.

You are right on Tex - I was generalizing as you can't get a narrow 39.5 so we run narrow 38.5 front and cut wide 39.5 in the rear - though stock class rigs are faster with narrow 38.5 front & rear - just as you said. You boys must know a little something about mud down there where Bob Chandler started it all.
