OK HERE'S THE DEAL,
i have my jeep put together now to the point that is pumpin fuel, suckin air and has spark to ignite.
when i turn it over, it fires right up and sounds great.
problem now is that when i let the key go(to the "on" position) it just dies. IT LIKE I OPEN THE CIRCUIT SOMEHOW, "ON" IS NOT HOT. also i can actually rev the engine a bit, if squeeze the key over to start, a few times.
the starter solonoid is wired up, i have a new voltage regulator and new ignition switch...everything is wired per several different and agreeing diagrams...
could my fan belt just be loose and not spinning the generator?
do i have my wiring wrong?
HELP!
THANKS
BRIAN
