He has inherited my large misshapen head, so I would prefer to shop in a store rather than online. If anyone knows of a good place to buy helmets in Sac, Stockton, Modesto or somewhere in between please let me know.
Tried this in chit-chat, no answers. Trying to get to Carnegie today to test out the sammy and the new gocart.
Thanks,
Brian

Try a motorcycle shop..
OR depending on how young your son is GO to a Mountian bike shop..
If he is like 5 or less I would recomend a GOOD mountain bike helmet they are lighter and less chance of neck injury..
Plus plenty of protection in the "bang" department but get a good, hard shell incase cart lands on him..
ALSO make sure to hit at least 2 stores alot of these retailer peeps don't have crap for training and you wanna see different attitudes to see what is right and whats not...
find a sales person that obviously cares about kids...they will be mostlikely to not simply repeat hte helmet manufactures sells pitch..
ALSO I have seen some kick ass looking SKI helmets for kids (but have no idea about them)

yeah, I was thinking Ski helmet too. Go to a ski store. When I was in Vail over christmas everybody and their brother was rocking a helmet. I think that would be the best way to go...
