Im interested in interior paint. Have any of you used it?? I have 1 friend that did it on his jeep door panels, but its begun to chip. I have tan interior and want to change to grey or black, Is it better to just replace it, or have any of you had good luck with the paint/die stuff?? I know I'd need new carpet seats etc. but Im plannin on that, my question refers mainly to dash, kick panels, and the rest of the plastic panels, in the cab of my 85 toy.:confused: What do YOU think??? is it :skull: or :rainbow:

i changed my TJ's dash from tan to black with duplicolor vinyl paint in the rattle cans from autozone. And I dyed my soft top and two piece soft doors with it, too. The dash is showing some wear on the passenger side where my wife catch's it with her feet climbing over the side cage bar. Rest looks like it did when I sprayed it. The soft top and doors took a bunch of cans to do inside and out, but it has good coverage (one coat on the dash)
I wouldn't try in on carpet, I don't see how it would cover down deep. (rip out the carpet and hurc-u-line it) I do recomend it for a dash and door panels.
oh yeah, I did the color change last Sept.

Couldn't you just hit the worn spots with some fresh paint, or would it blend funky? Also whats it cost a can? And what kind of prep does it take, Just wash before spraying??

What about the Zolatone paint? They use it for everything. Its tough as hell too. They paint safes with it. They have it in black, it kind of has a wierd cool texture to it. You would have to go to an automotive paint store to see it. Or check out www.zolatone.com i think thats there web site. Just do a search in google and it will pull them up if not.
