I'm doing a 2.5l to 4.0l conversion. I needed to move my brackets forward from the stock 2.5l position. cutting off the old brackets ruined them and I needed new ones anyway. made these and arc welded them on. My verticle welds were not that great but im SURE they'll hold.

ya the welds arn't too pretty, partly because I'd only had about 3 hours practice on verticle welding before I tried this myself. but pretty doesn't count here. they penetrated fully and I KNOW they aint goin anywhere
