They were/are used in '92 and up (IFS) 4X4 Suburbans with big blocks.

Yep still used in 4x4 suburbans with the 8.1 the 01 and up vehicles have disc brakes though. My .02$ :grinpimp:

I agree with the size issue. It sure is huge piece of iron under my 3/4-ton 2wd.

My decision was based on price ($120), ratio (3.21), and ease of fit (bolt in - no mods). And cheap is an understatement... I mean, I changed the whole axle and recycled some brakes for LESS than a brake job by itself.
