MNorby 08-27-2005, 11:26 PM A friend is doing abody swap of a IH Traveller onto a 1-ton chevy chassis running a 454/sm465/203/205 D60 and 14FF. We have most the body mounts and a core support built. Has anyone else ever done something like this and if so got any tips or pics? Thanks. No but I saw a guy put a truck cab and hood like this http://www.consignall.ca/members/900095/reg_79ih.jpg on a travelall frame, powered by a Chysler slant 6 with a 727 behind it. He had built a wood flatbed on the back. I did not have a camera with me and by the time I got back to the store (less than 10 minutes gone) he had left. Just couldn't come up with a good body at a reasonable price. Scored the whole explorer, no rust, for free.:D MNorby 01-09-2006, 11:10 AM hey, deal with what ya got. Already had the built chevy but wanted the people carrying capacity and smaller body and had the traveller and scout II there.
