A friend is doing abody swap of a IH Traveller onto a 1-ton chevy chassis running a 454/sm465/203/205 D60 and 14FF. We have most the body mounts and a core support built. Has anyone else ever done something like this and if so got any tips or pics? Thanks.

No but I saw a guy put a truck cab and hood like this

on a travelall frame, powered by a Chysler slant 6 with a 727 behind it. He had built a wood flatbed on the back. I did not have a camera with me and by the time I got back to the store (less than 10 minutes gone) he had left.

What is that on the front? Some kind of jungle gym? :flipoff2:

the front of the chevy frame stuck out past the scout body to fit the wheel wells and had to keep the frame for the front spring hangers and steering box so built the bumper over than and the winch will go it the space

Working on putting on an explorer sport 2-door onto a Scout II frame and drivetrain. :( Sorry. Just couldn't come up with a good body at a reasonable price. Scored the whole explorer, no rust, for free.:D

hey, deal with what ya got. Already had the built chevy but wanted the people carrying capacity and smaller body and had the traveller and scout II there. The traveller fit the frame better and is in alot better shape.
