Would like to swap in a chevy front d44 and a ff 14 bolt. Have brand new boggers and beadlocks set up for a scout (5 on 5 1/2).
I can't imagine that it's that involved but what do i know. Did a search but didn't get a whole lot of info.

For the front, small-bearing GM/FSJ spindles, with Ford hubs & rotors; GM calipers. For the rear, Donovan put one together sometime back. I think he turned down the hub and flange some, and welded/redrilled the holes. Lot of time and effort for the rear, and you may still have brake clearance issues. Maybe pull the drums and backing plates and convert it to 5x5-1/2 discs?.

What do you have for the front that is 8 lug? I have a 5 on 5.5 D44 that I want to convert to 8 lug. Let me know and maybe we can help each other out.

As for the 14bolt, donovan did the 6 lug conversion. Not sure if the 5 lug is possible but with enough time and money I am sure anything is possible. Let me know on the 8 lug front stuff.
