I have a 71 Yamaha RT360 that I am going to fix up...one thing I need to replace is the left case seal...anybody have a good online or local (Norcal) shop that I could get one at....I know NOTHING about bikes...yet, that is

Ebay is about the last place to find NOS or used parts...search ebay motors...motorcycle parts..your model of bike.. :D

Those were scary mofo's back in the day,and I don't mean in a good way!
If you're going to actually ride the thing buy it a good set of shocks. Stock ones were like having pogo sticks back there.
Junk it and get a vintage Maico,best handling motorcycle of all time.(requires complete overhaul after every ride though)
I guess Suzuki TM 400's were the one bike more dangerous than a RT.

That's cool! I wish I could find my first bike and restore it. It was just like that. 71 RT or DT 125. I wore that thing out and race my first 4 or 5 Enduro's on it.

Good luck no help here, are you talking gasket or seal? I bet a seal might interchange #'s.

smurfsdad pointed me to a guy in Orangeville once that had great knowledge of old bikes. He really knew his shit! Was off of Main in some little shop hard to find. Maybe he will pipe in here with some info.
