A buddy of mine has a 1991 Chevy blazer with a 4.3 liter CPI V6.
he replaced the injector and a few other parts.

The intake manifold is aluminium and bolts to the head using what he says is an aluminuium bolt, which is discontinued by GM...

so can a Stainless steel bolt be substitued for these bolts?
Are these bolts really stainless steel?

Thanks.

Ask the dealer what the new part number is that replaces the old.

We did that already.

They said go someplace and have them made.

That is a bunch of BS from them. I doubt they were going to do that themselves. Maybe try another dealer? I'm curious about this. That's the same motor in my ZR2 I'm building. Sorry I don't have an answer for you.
