i recently lifted my '88 k5 with a 4" tuff country lift with blocks

i lowered my tcase an inch to help with a grinding noise i had and it helped with the vibe a little bit

i get it on acceleration and while its not too bad it does get annoying

i tried to get a degree measurement on my slip yoke and pinion

the slip yoke degree is showing about 5 degrees and the pinion is showing 10 degrees its like the block is tilting the pinion too far up

would a cv shaft solve my vibration?
should i get a shim and shim the rear axle to where the pinion points at about 4 degrees?

easiest way is to extend your centerbolt head and then put in a shim and if it's not the right one then just switch it out and since your head is extended the whole process will take less than 10 minutes if the first wedge isn't the proper degree. Or you could remount your axle pads, but the wedges are quite a bit easier.
