It's hard to say, but my guess would be 3.73 or 4.11 with the 4 speed. Look for the axle tags on either axle.

Yeah the tags are bolted to the covers.

I'm not an expert, but I think the came with a limited slip from the factory, I think it was called a govlock, but it is a limitied slip. They are a little better than the clutch type posi's, but not a locker. You could also check the glove box door to see if the option sheet is still on there. That would tell you if it is still on there.

just like said above they did come with a factory locker but it isn't that good. i think they can also come with 4.56's too. u got the same motor tranny transfer case and rearend i got. its a good setup.

Look in the glovebox for a code, either usually like a gu4,gu6,gt6 etc etc, if the truck looks stock. If it looks like somebody has modified the truck at all I would just open up both diffs and check the ratio the right way, and if you just bought the truck then you should do that and change the fluid in it anyways, you never know where a rig has been.

i dont know how to tell what kind of truck it came out of but there are codes or numbers on it to tell you more. and some not all came with limited slip. i would rather have a open ff so i could put a detroit in it then have the govbomb
