Buddy has a 48 willyz with a y-block 292 (with ford 312 heads on it of course) from a 57 t-bird. Has the t90 and wants to use a ford t18. can this be done?

Hmmm, I had a 64 Ford p/u with a granny 4spd in it behind the factory 292. I honestly can't remember what tranny it was. But, you should be able to find a bellhousing from that vintage truck (58-64or5) that would work. You might have to do a little checking to see what tranny they had in them, though.

Or maybe no one cares? Try the Jeep section or an antique Ford board.

Does the T90 and T18 have the same bellhousing pattern already? Ford was good about leaving the bellhousings the same on their manual trannies......Might be a bolt in deal!
