How do you get the ring gear off the carrier? There is a piece of metal that sticks out from the limited slip like a weight thats spring loaded the ring gear will not pass by it.

Krylon.. 09-01-2005, 09:01 AM Are you talking about a stock Eaton Gov-lock posi? If so, and if memory serves me correctly, there shouldn't be anything in the way. If something is sticking out of yours, then it may be broke. Post up some pics! | |
