D44/BB9" Geared and Locked... What are they worth?

Say for the sake of argument that you have a buddy who's about to go full width on his EB. He's already setup with a D44 w/ 4.56 gears, Detroit Locker and Power Disk Brakes. His BB 9" is 31 spline and will have a Detroit Locker and 4.56 gears as well.

What would you pay a buddy for a setup like this?

Note: I have a D44 and the parts to do my Disk Brakes conversion. But, don't have gears or lockers in either axle. I also have a BB9" already so I'd probably just pull the 3rd member and axles and put them in my housing and put my crap back in his.

I also plan to re-sell my crap (or what's left over) to make up some of the funds back.

What would you do? :D :D :D

I paid $1500 for a set-up almost just like that from a buddy.

i would say it would cost 2-3 grand to duplicate the setup with new gear in your truck.

1000-1500 would probly seem fair depending on condition and abuse/age.

Sounds good. I'm hoping to pay about a grand for them. Then, I can turn around and sell my axles to someone else and make some of the $$$ back.

I sold mine setup the same way for $2200. Rebuilt axles ain't cheap, and these were built right, the guy was happy to get them.

i sold my ford d44 front and 9" rear with lockers and 5.13 gears for $1300.....
