Hello ppl ..
This Sunday we had a lot of fun offroading.. There were aroung 15 4x4s.. Some from the Islamabad Jeep Club.. Some from the Offroaders Club.. Islamabad And some from the Lahore 4WD Club.. Here are 3 pics.. I will upload many more soon...as soon as I get them developed...

PS.. I agree that they desperately need rollbars.. :)

Those are some cool jeeps, are they ex-military, or I suppose I mean ex-Pakastanie(sp?) Willys or what? My guess is that our government probably sold these surpluse rigs to their government back in the day, or are those made under liscense by another company, like some of the 3Btype rigs were? They look to be in amaizing condition, guess they stay pretty rust free in the desert, post some more pics and info if you've got it.

Well.. They are ex-Pakistan Millitary vehicles.. The Pak Army bought quite a few rfom the US probably during the Afghan-Russian war and before that.. These willys have been rebuilt here in Pakistan by local mechanics.. There are a lot of them around.. People buy them from the Army junkyard and get them rebuilt.. the finished thing costs around 5000 to 5500 dollars...
I will post more pictures soon.. Probably tommorow when I have uploaded them to the IJC website....
