cj5 longer wheelbase

I've got a 74 cj5 (should have started with a 7),401,t18, dana 20, dana 60 rear 44 ft, 60" wms to wms.

I'm looking at running 36's, My wheelbase has been streached out in the front for a total of 89".
I'd like to see some pics..or Ideas on streaching out the rear and cutting the tub....I'm not sure how far I wanna (or should) go. I Live and wheel in oregon not too many rocks, I'm just tring to only do it once...this time(lol)

IIRC during the summer of 02 there was a thread in the Jeep seciton on stretching CJ-5's that had pictures. Could be wrong though.

single link with TJ coils gave me 104" Wb. Beef up the frame is all I can say.

Search for ROCK TAXI both here and google. There are some really good buildup threads and pictures. I did my stretch after seeing that one. I also have some pictures of mine posted, but the dial up will not let me post more right now. Search 1972CJ5+1 also. You might find some info searching ALASKAN ASSASIN also. Ditto on the frame. It is way too weak for what you want to do.
