: When good poser shots go bad......

I have some. I know others do. Common. You were trying to get the shot when, roll? snap? bang? flop? what?
Two weeks ago I was screwin off at a local place. was going good and tried to climb this one area where you come in and kinda have to twist in to hit it square to climb it. well the first approach got me about 3 feet of air and I kept getting pass front tire to lift when I'd hit twards the top. COOL i think. I have barely lifted a front tire on a toy truck!!! Did anyone get pix? NO!! So I go back last weekend and try and lift a tire. I keep climbing the rock. I pick worse lines and worse lines and get the tire to lift a little when settiling down to reline up. Well I get the line. I am in silly low and figure I can control it. Well I get the tire up and like a feather in the wind the beast goes over. well there is a hole on the other side that I could see trying my cage out on. I got lucky.
Whos done this? I know we are all "glory hogs" so we need the poser shots. Throw em out..... Its a different topic

i had the same thing happen, i wish i had the pics on this computer. Took my gf out for the first time, was gonna have her take a good articulation shot of the bronco with a tire up on a big rock. Next thing i knew i was suspended by my seatbelt 3 feet in the air.

Friday there was a show I have not heard of nor ever seen before on I think TNN or the Outdoor channel, anyway, it was on Satelite & called "4X4 TV". All thru the show they showed rollovers, even of rockcrawling events. Most were pretty embarrassing ones too. Even showed a female rockcrawlin team & their red JEEP :p . Anyone heard of that show:question:

Cool, so tell me why all the rollover shots?? It seemed to be the focus. Have you even seen it?? Well, not really embarassing like I said earlier but more like when one happened I was like amazed it happened like it did.
Almost forgot, what is the schedule like for that show, I just woke up when I noticed it on the tube.

Hey Skytone, that sand shot is from when Tim (super glue) Dawes tried to perform yet another super glue moment. He wasn't quite successful. Sure was funny as hell though. There were some casualties though. I think he lost a beer or two. Can't remember. Despite the damage to the cooler you can see in one of the pics, he still runs it. Just classic.

so whats the scoop on the texans???????? i wanna hear what happened and how they got themselves into that mess! someone please tell me or refer me to a thread that has it on it.

Bindernut

ditto.

While I'd agree that they aren't really damaging anything driving right there (a week later you'd never know they were there), this is the kind of stuff that the greenies use to group us all into that minority of people that *do* destroy, rape, plunder, litter, and otherwise deface the great outdoors, and who will eventually cost all of us our freedom to 'wheel because of their mistakes.

Wow, that's a long sentence.

So, where's the write-up on these texas boys, anyway? Also, I don't know why they need straps, because they aren't about to roll, as near as I can tell from the pictures.
