Saw a really clean 85 Ford F 350 down the street for sale. Dually 2wd. milage is 26K although it's a clean truck I'm sure it's 126,000.

How are these diesel motors?

the 6.9 is incredibly reliable, just low on power.. i think its rated at 180 HP/330 TQ..the trans would be either a c6 or a t19, both bulletproof..

What kind of fuel mileage would these motors get? And how long does a typical motor last? Any problems with parts? Pumps etc...

200k-250k is not uncommon.my dads old 7.3 NA got 19 on the freeway

Eagle your mileage is going to depend on how fast you want to go since you don't have OD in any of the trans options.

I know a guy with 450,000+ on his 6.9. Like mentioned above it is low on power, he has a four speed manual transmission, seems to be bulletproof.
