Off-Road Leaders

Friends of Oceano Dunes will be hosting an information rally in Bakersfield
California Saturday April 6th, 2002. Last month we had a very successful
meeting in Hanford where we had over 2000 people in attendance. We are
planning to have over 5000 people in Bakersfield!

We have a unique opportunity in Bakersfield that we want to share. Many in
the Bakersfield area go to numerous off-road locations (Oceano Dunes,
Dumont, Glamis, desert etc) and we want to inform them of the many groups
fighting out there and how they can get information and assist in the fight.

Therefore, we are offering all Non-Profits fighting for public access an
opportunity to have a free booth in Bakersfield. You will be free to provide
information and to sign up free memberships...all that we ask, is that no
selling of merchandise or trying to obtain paid membership occur.

There will be a presentation by Friends of Oceano Dunes about the issues
facing Pismo. At the end of the presentation we will have a question and
answer period. We would like to extend an open invitation for a
representative from the various off-road groups to join us on the stage to
help answer questions concerning ALL California Off-Road riding areas. We
will encourage Q&A about all areas.

In addition,
- We will have an opportunity drawing where participants can win an ATV and
much much more.
- We will be selling booth space to vendors with the same rules, no selling
of merchandise. The booths are for information only
- We will be having a Show and Shine for various off-road vehicles
- We will have refreshments and food concessions

Please forward to any off-road leader who we might have inadvertently
missed. We welcome suggestions and assistance in making this an awesome
event to inform the many off-roaders about the issues facing us.

Sincerely,

Jim Suty
