Please show up and be represented.

The Middle Gila Conservation (MGCP) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Resource Advisory Counsel is hosting an open house meeting on March 19, 2002. The meeting will run from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the Best Western Hotel in Gold Canyon. (Hwy. 60 and Kings Ranch Rd.)

This meeting is open to the public. The Government Agencies would like to hear what Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) community needs or wants regarding OHV recreation in the Florence Junction and Box Canyon area.

This partnership is working towards a multi-use recreation area; we need to all participate in this meeting. It’s not very often that we have an opportunity to voice our opinion in a forum such as this. Please wear a red shirt in support of OHV use.

Thank you,

Neal Hancock

Hey Mark, at least you're in the same state ;)

Chris let us know if you can use our letters and any important points we need to mention, as I know these vary from area to area...maybe post a list of points or a sample letter or something...

We will rally the troops and show up in numbers. I have to admit that I have taken all this open land for granted. Now I am feeling worried we could lose alot of our favorite areas. I guess there's no time like the present to get involved. I am there in red.

Get in while you can!

In Las Vegas, this coming November was to have been a gathering of the Rock Crawling series, for a big championship kinda event. Cool, huh!? Las Vegas, Championship Rock Crawling, rigs, friends, competition. It's a no-go now, turned down three times by the local BLM.

Yes, the same boys and girls that handed out tickets to participants in a TLCA run a couple years back.

Make all the BLM friends and allies you can, and get all the permission you can to use all the land you can. Show them how well you'll care for it, etc.

Politics aside, perhaps it's do-able:)
