: What happened here?
aloharover 09-07-2005, 06:38 AM So I have been busy as hell for the past month and haven't had much time for the PBB. Catching up on some posts and the first thing that I notice is that it seems like I clicked on the wrong link and am reading posts on D-Web. But no this is the PotR Rover foum. So wtf happened?
Questions about rear view mirrors, bolt on 2" lifts, electric relays????
Did I miss the post where it was decided to turn this forum into a bunch of non-tech drivel?
Pete
Keith Armstrong 09-07-2005, 06:44 AM Ok, I'll be a target.
I'm trying - not very hard though - to figure out if I need to run redundant systems to have TBI and LP on a chevy V8.
Go ahead, take a shot.
It seems that the TBI needs a variety of signals to run, just like any efi system, and that it going to be really confused if I just shut off the fuel and try to replace it with the LP flow.
Takers?
KAA
Pete, I'm with you. It seems the "discussion" a few months ago has led to things changing. Less worthy tech.
Old Scout 09-07-2005, 02:22 PM Everybody said I was to harsh on the noob " tech". So I wait until I get a complaint about a post before I move on it.
If you feel a post doesn't fit, just click the report to mod button. I haven't received a single complaint in the last 60 days.
evilfij 09-07-2005, 02:33 PM I know I have complained with in the last 60 days. Well, maybe just outside of that. Its funny I report, it gets moved/deleted. It is scary the power of the report button.

Most of the time I have already seen it and just wait for somebody else to agree with me before I move/kill it.
Old Scout 09-07-2005, 02:56 PM Very funny!
This is what I get:

PTSchram 09-07-2005, 05:21 PM When the post about buying UK land appeared, I couldn't find the "Report to Mod" button...
I find more tech in my telephone calls with Pendy and Keith K.
Roverhound 09-07-2005, 07:58 PM We drive unique un-common vehicles that are as unreliable as me being the designated driver.
Some of us are, um, not aloud on Dweb for whatever reason. Maybe because we think EE is overpriced for those with big wallets and like to kiss certain asses? I don't know but maybe we should have just thought it and not typed it out loud. And we definately shouldn't have posted results of our comparison shopping.:p
Would it help if I had a question that wasn't real hard core tech if I used big words? That way maybe it would seem cool!
I love you guys. :flipoff2:

Until this thread I never realised there was a report button
SeaRover 09-08-2005, 09:49 PM whining to mods is for pussies - PBB is all about the open flame :flipoff2:
ProsQtor 09-08-2005, 10:43 PM Yeah, whining about a thread to a mod is, like, soooooooo DiscoWeb.
And then Roverhound gets kicked off again :flipoff2:

What sickens me is that people are starting to like Agro1. Do they get a discount at EE if they kiss the asses of all the Roverbuddies?

Oh, dont even go there. I joined Discoweb just to make fun of all of those people. Occassionally there is a serious thread, but "Whats wrong with my 12 disc cd changer" is ridiculous. I browse the Disco pages, and do put replies on the Series pages, as thats what I know best.
The thread titled "Whos should pick up the tab" was just too funny. I didnt add a reply, but someone ended up with egg on their face.
