well i got the dana 60 (with ford big bearing ends) all under the jeep and got the axles back from the machine shop that made them. i go to bolt up the axles and the retaing plates dont fit. the holes are about 1/4" to close together. i though i had big bearing plates on it but i guess not. is there a company where i can buy plates? or will i have to search the scrap yards to find some? i did some seaching and came up empty.

Go to www.markwilliams.com
I believe they sell everything you need. The retainers and ends come in quite a selection of sizes, bolt patterns and bolt sizes.

cool thanks! i got the ends from a diff company and i cant remember who, i never had axles made for my dana 60 (it sat in storage for a year) i thought the retainers came in differant sizes.... so i guess i am not going crazy.

right now i am using the ones that are too small and can only get 2 bolts in (i have to have my jeep rolling, or i will get a fine!) for now...kinda spooky

Another source might be TSM in Colorado. They're in the back of most of the mags. I bought my disc brakes from them and they seemed to know all about the different ends.
