MIKE- Congrats on the Sammi. Looks killer. I am currently building up an EB. For something that spends equal time on and offroad would you recommend the extended arms and F150 springs for an EB? Yes I want some flex but stability and high speed control is important as well. I will be doing more high speed bashing and bogging than extreme rock crawling.

Also, With the short wheelbase of the EB, what is the max size tire I should run. I see alot of guys going to extended wheelbases (100+") with 44" tires including you when you went to coils in the rear. Did you like the 44's and the stock wheelbase or did the 39 TSL's feel more stable? I want 40's for sure but maybe 44's if my wheelbase isnt TOO short. I have a 14bolt and RC60 already swapped in so no worries there. Thanks a bunch!

i might not be mike, but i ran the same combo, and i have his old frame, which was setup for the coils f/r. the coils are an awesome swap. you can run them well. they are very stable and in my oppinion coils are much supperior to leaves in everyway.

i ran the f-150 springs for a while, and they are a great upgrade. they flex very well. the only problems is that they are so damn soft, they will sag alot, and if you have alot of tools, or carry alot of stuff, they will sag alot. i did like the springs though, i would never buy a set of national leaves again.
if you want to do a cheap conversion i would do the leaves, if not the coils are not completely out of the question, you will have to hack some out of the bed though. i to am running 14 bolt and 60. i have the whole running gear in, just need to do all the little things and throw the body back on and its very close to back running again.
ps. my wheelbase is set at 100. it helps for climbing. when i was at the stock 92 wb i never had a problem with 39.5 tsl and stability. also if you will be doing mud and high speed i would recomend long arms and not making a pivot in the radius arms.

Why will I have to hack the bed? Because of the coil mounts?

Did you gain wheelbase in the fronttoo or ALL in the rear? With 100" WB are you using a full bed? I would guess alot of hacking with 100" and a regualr bronco bed. Any pics of the rear wheel wells? Also, with 100" WB what did you do with the fuel tank and the rear crossmember? Sounds interesting.

im still using the quater pannels in the back, no bed and wheelwells. i gained 8 inches in the back on in the front. but if you wanted to stay at 92 inches it wouldbe pretty easy,

Good thing I didn't look at the score of obsticle #6 (I think it was) before Grady signed it off and they made me move forward out of the way of the final gate. Because I got hit with a flag point that I did not hit and I could have disputed it. That would have put me above you by about 4-5 points. So *ptttthhhhhh* :flipoff2:

We just did long arms and f150's on Lance Williams Bronco and he loves it and can haul ass down the road... with 39.5 inch boggers I was able to scare most of the judges I was cornering so hard when I was at TTC in 99 and got a 2nd in ride and drive...

I also raced Tim Hardy back to camp..he was in a rental car and I was on his bumper ...

I was running quads in the front with singles in the rear and it will park on a 40 inch tire with the front working like the rear

I ran 44's with an 89" wheel base and it was a bit short but push it out to 96"s and run um. I loved my 44's. You can haul butt al you want.... it wont fall over cause its to soft.
